Two new IRT Pros are in Wolverine Country to fight for the
annual West Michigan Open title on the IRT satellite tour.
First up is IRT #14, Alejandro Herrera, perhaps the best
player to come out of Colombia. His opponent is IRT #28,
Candian World Champion, and tour veteran, Mike Green
hailing from Ontario, Canada. The chips are all on the court
today. Will Herrera’s youth, power and quickness prevail
or will the experienced Green use the momentum from his
semi win over Cliff Swain and look for weaknesses to exploit to win the MI Cup.

Shane Vanderson returns to Grand Rapids to defend his West Michigan Championship Title. This time it is his old friend, Mike Dennison, who steps into the final to challenge him. Dennison plays hard in the first 2 games but Vanderson steals game 1 and is in control of game 2. All looks lots for the Ektelon Rules posterboy, but he cranks it up a notch or two and takes games 3 and 4, pushing Vandy to the max in the breaker. Great venue and crowd for these Ohio boys battling it out to the end.
